I've been meaning to add photographs from the community garden to this blog, but I don't always manage to take photographs and upload around the same time.

I'm just going to add the photos in this post and do better at organizing in future...

Globe artichoke
A stunning giant thistle, member of the sunflower family. There are at least five variety of globe artichoke, I think the community garden has at lease two - Purple Globe and Violet "poivrade" of Provence (pretty sure I saw this, but forgot to take a photograph).
