Living Under One Sun clinched the Community Group of the Year Award, part of the national Green Heroes awards from leading environmental charity BTCV.
BTCV, a national charity which supports more than 600,000 people a year to improve themselves and their environment, will present the volunteers with certificates at a ceremony in London in October.
The annual BTCV Green Hero Awards recognise people and groups who have made a special contribution to their local environment, often in the face of challenges and difficulties.
