LUOS welcomed the first day of the Blooming Beds and Bees champions" course with a snowy winter scene. A bit of a shock after the launch of the course two weeks before in the cosy LUOS's office.
Welcome to Living Under One SunDespite the snow, 18 of us showed up for the class. We learnt about:
- the need to get to know our project sites before we start work on the site
- what is already growing (floras) on the site
- the site's existing wildlife (faunas)
- the type of soil on the site.
